Head luggage license

Sports equipment brand Head Sport has signed a brand license for accessories and luggage.

The licensee is United Brands 24, the territory is Europe and North America.

The license covers small leather goods, leather mobile cases, bags, luggage and other travel accessories.

The launch is planed for the fourth quarter of 2017.


Newell selling brands

After selling and licensing some Rubbermaid business, Newell Brands is planing to sell its ski and winter sports brands Volkl and K2.

In addition Newell is selling the Pine Mountain business, as well as the Diamond business. It will retain other Diamond-branded products, such as plastic cutlery, as well as its First Alert home safety business.

In October 2016, the company sold its tools business to Stanley Black & Decker for $1.95 billion.


Umbro license

Umbro has signed a brand license for kidswear.

The licensee is Outerstuff, the territory is the USA.

The licensed apparel, footwear, and equipment will be distributed via specialty stores and department stores in the U.S., as well as e-commerce partners.

Columbia underwear license

Delta Galil is the new licensee for a global brand license from Columbia, known for active and outdoor apparel.

It already holds the license for socks.

The license runs through 2018.

The collection launched in January 2016.

Distribution will be through Columbia retail stores, outdoor specialty stores, sport specialty stores and select department stores worldwide.
